“Bandhan”
A special bond
“Yeh dhaage hen pyaar ke
Umang aur ulhaas ke
Peediyon ke faasle ghulte jayen
Bandhan bane aisa
Sab judte jayen”
An Initiative of Pragya Trust
Reaching the unreached
Pragya is all about spreading cheer and Wellness around in the social
milieu. It adheres to the spirit of universal brotherhood and treats common man
as a celebrity. It is the
voice of awakening…of the inner self. Evolving lifestyles and changing
mindsets with its niche and pioneering presence in Wellness. Its Wellness
journey begins with nurturing positive perceptions and continues towards
Complete Wellness of every individual empowering him to lead a better and
healthier life.
Bandhan is an initiative of
Pragya Trust.Pragya Trust is a platform
created for the masses and committed to a social and noble cause to reach out
and show a ray of hope to humanity at large. The Trust is committed to assisting
& aiding the deprived underprivileged populace and those who are unable to move
on in life owing to a growing imbalance.
Bandhan is a sincere attempt to
bridge the gap between Old aged people and orphaned children who are the most
deprived of love and compassion which is their birthright. Through this bonding
we are trying to breathe a fresh wave of hope, love and compassion into their
lives.
Old and the young came together on Saturday,
12th Feb. in Vridh Sewa Ashram, Anand Niketan, C-5, Sec-55, Noida - 201301.
Bandhan has been conceived to create family bonding between Aged people and
Orphanage kids who came together and spent some moments of joy. The old got an
opportunity to relive their second childhood and share their feelings while the
children basked in the parental love showered on them.
To join Pragya in their mission,
there were two volunteers from completely diverse fields a motivational speaker
and India’s youngest Tarot Card reader and hypnotherapist. A lot of interesting
and fun filled activities built an emotional bonding between the two
generations.
We found the aged and children participated in the activities
with full enthusiasm. Although only for a few hours, the compassion they shared
with each other while dancing, singing and participating in fun filled
activities was a joy to witness.
Speaking on the initiative, Meena Tiwari, Managing
Director said, “Through Pragya Trust, I want to
serve the global community and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
There is a good self hidden in each one of us. We simply need to awaken it. I
strongly believe that only an awakened self can create an awakened society. I
was touched to see how, although for a little while, we were able to spread
smiles and create a feeling of wellness, love, compassion and harmony around
through Bandhan.”
