Pragya “Go Green” Drive “Plant a Tree” Day
4th July: A worthy deed for the benefit of mankind is an ennobling experience.
That’s what the inspired Pragya Team felt when they left their Noida office in
the wee hours of the morning on a Green mission of Planting trees in the
Capital. In an attempt to inspire communities and develop a culture of Planting
and caring for Trees, the Pragya Team headed for East Delhi.
The area chosen was a densely populated region of Trilokpuri, Block 18. A part
of Government approved Green belt in a residential area was being used as a
dumping ground. It was first cleaned and numerous trees like Neem, Jamun,
Gulmohar and Bel trees to name a few were planted.
It was heartening to see children from the locality come forward and express
their desire to be a part of the initiative. They planted trees along with the
Pragya team.
A lot has been spoken about eco friendly issues and saving the resources mother
earth has made available for us. Many have risen to save environment. It’s time
now for the common man to act conscientiously with full awareness in small
individual ways. It’s time for us to make lifestyle changes and live for a
cause.
Pragya believes that a refined and awakened mind can create complete well being…
a sense of feeling good from within. With each new initiative, both on and off
air, Pragya continues to evolve lifestyles and enhance mindsets towards a
healthy planet.
Every member of Pragya Team is inspired by the belief- “the entire world is our
home and we are family.” The whole experience of planting trees in Delhi was
more than Planting a life…it was planting a faith that will one day blossom.
